Flowers & Happiness

In a world where stress and busyness are a constant struggle in our lives, we are always looking for ways to relax or destress. One simple way that we can boost our mood is by gifting someone flowers or keeping beautiful blooms displayed in your home. Flowers have been proven to increase serotonin levels in our brain which puts us in a better mood naturally!

When we give and receive gifts from people we love, it puts a smile on our faces, which releases the happy chemical in our bodies called serotonin. People with high levels of serotonin have lower stress levels and have a lower chance of suffering from depression and other chronic health issues. It is no surprise that the most popular gift for hospital patients is a bright bouquet of flowers because it can boost moods and help their bodies heal, which ultimately helps sick patients recover faster! Not only can flowers brighten our mood, but they can also brighten any room. Seeing the beauty of flowers daily in your home or workplace can increase productivity and in return decrease stress levels. Flowers and nature trigger happy emotions and boost our mood the natural way!

Preserving memories from one of the happiest days of your life is another great way to add extra bits of happiness to your life. Seeing your wedding bouquet in a coaster, tray, or keychain helps you remember those special memories and add some joy to the everyday routine.

So today, reconnect with an old friend or someone you love and brighten their day by sending them a beautiful bouquet!
